A man stands empty; Empty to emotion Empty to feelings An empty, red shell
He stands at a window Watching his friends Move on with their lives While he fades Into the darkness Alone, without anyone at all
But all at once, A ray of light like flame Shines forth upon his face Filling him with warmth Ridding him of his emptiness
At once, he has a purpose A motivation in life Something to strive for A red flame, a flame of hope
